Question to santas from USA. When you send items, do you send them as a gift? I got to pay parcel fees for my SS gift... After almost 5 months...So im curious.
Im pissed of because my post office didnt inform me about fees when they delivered box, just now out of nowhere.

Sounds like a import VAT charge. I think because of the abuse of gifts, the UK now for example imposes a threshold on the 'value' of the gifts/imports on which import VAT + duty is charged. Rules should be consistent within the EU as I think this is to tackle cheap imports/competition from outside the EU and encourage local trade or local expensive ripoff prices =p

Bottom line is to ensure the value reported is low as nowadays they tend to look at the 'value' and disregard the fact that it's a gift, you may want to check on the threshold for when this kicks in for Poland.
