Reason was because they are a small company, with only 2 people doing this launch. I also believe their location is in the UK, and it was pretty late there when this pre-order went live. I was watching them on Twitch before they launched it. They did a countdown with their fans on Twitch. Them both are really awesome tbh to go that far with their fans. And they gave us the Coupon Code too to the those who watch them on Twitch and those who joined the Exclusive F4F FB Group. They also show some sneak peak on the next dark souls statues.

PS.. and the Litho is worth it I would say

First 4 Figures is located in Hong Kong. But however, they have Shippingpartners in the UK and USA I believe, so the shippingcost might be expensive, but at least you don't have to pay taxes. The preorder is still open for two weeks, after that Artorias is gone.

Artorias is done, Sif is waiting for the approval of From Software and Ornstein is a prototype which need some repainting or something like that. If you want to be updated, join the F4F collectors club on Facebook. It's worth it, they got coupons for every preorder and previews of the figures.

I got the exclusive Edition myself, my first F4F statue. Can't wait to get my hands on this one!

I am curious. The way you said this is they judge how many they will make based on orders?

I like this and also hate this if true. Well the obvious for both sides is if I am one of few then my exclusive becomes that much more rare... if I am one of very many then it feels less exclusive.

Yes. They changed it from a set # recently. My opinion is that it'll likely make edition sizes larger which is unfortunate for those who like the exclusivity. But it also gives people a chance to determine if they want one longer than the short time it takes some to sell out.


Also, here's Alex's latest info regarding the shipping cost for those who are curious:

"Artorias shipping box estimated at 14kg and 60cm * 39cm * 89cm. Hopefully that explains the shipping cost...

Feel free to input the data into your courier companies to see if the shipping cost comes in cheaper and let us know! We only know what our 3rd party warehouses tell us so if you find something drastically cheaper, we'd of course look into it. Please also factor in that we also need to pay to get the statue from China to the US/UK and also need to pay a 3rd warehouse handling charge in addition to the courier cost. But yes - please let us know!
