Seriously f-ing loathe Ubi's shop since they changed it to paying up-front.

Would've preordered some of the stuff instantly if I knew I could preorder now, arrange my money on the month it's due/save to accommodate it and it was never an issue but there's no way I want to throw money at something without a chance to properly plan for it.

Completely agree. Have had to leave A LOT of the stuff from Ubi of late, can only get if it's up elsewhere

Yeah, not that they care but it's not even a case of not having money, I think it's more a case of, "Sweet, just preordered £xxx worth of AC/Watch Dogs 2 stuff! Wait, what's that noise? Oh, shit! The washing machine has just exploded with many of my work clothes in it! Ah, it's not too bad, at least I can cover it with some money from kind of unplanned fund! Oh, wait, all that AC/Watch Dogs 2 stuff! Welp, shit."

It just would feel too risky not to account for the future.

I'm irritated enough at the Square Enix Store just now for that and it's only £20. I didn't spot anything in their FAQ about holding the entire amount of money and instead that they just charge a few days before despatch but nope, there we go, £20 pending stuck on my card. (It was the Tomb Raider stamp set if you're curious. Was odd enough that I wanted it, plus it'll go with my Witcher stamp.)

I only really collect AC statues, but I guess I'll preorder that chest with the apple. 2700 units sounds like a lot, but considering that an item like the apple will probably be a mainstream seller, I wouldn't be surprised to see all 2700 units sell out around launch. Especially considering that it'll be Christmas time too. Thanks for the heads up KnightOfTruth.
