No, ABS plastic isn't that good quality material, but for $170 I would not expect more. It would be ''bad'' if it was a $600 project triforce replica...but it's not.
I think you should keep your pre-order, but it's up to you to choose.

Until then all I can say is, this is a very nice toy...yes, a toy. It has nothing to do with those high-end, limited collectible replicas...it's a toy. But a very nice one.

IGN made a video of this Gjallarhorn and they tested the speaker...very low quality sound if you ask me. I won't even use it.
