Anticipated Metroid: Samus Returns Special Edition

My wording was not ideal but the point stands - anything done to a Collector's Edition that alters it from what the factory produced is effectively defacing it (ex. writing on the box with permanent marker). It will still be a "new" item but one with permanent damage and lessened value.

Again, can anyone with the EU version of this confirm if theirs has this "watermark"? So far it seems mixed - I'm starting to wonder if it was placed at the distributor level (Spain/Portugal) and not at the store.
