I am fine with smaller size, it makes it easier to get all of them. But damn the price.

Not so sure. I hope sideshow gets the exclusive version. I am not paying 215 USD of shipping, plus taxes. Hell that's 1550 CAD to get this here it's way too much.

Agreed! Unfortunately, it looks like Sideshow might no longer be stocking P1 statues. I read something about P1 getting warehouses in the US and Europe, and I saw while browsing their site that they have a new, more affordable US shipping option. But I was really disappointed to see 215 USD shipping to Canada; that really prices me out of this line.

I tought back about this. Sideshow shipping would be 90 USD but they have this extra 5% duty. So 40 USD. Plus DHL fees (25 instead of 10 with fedex air). So that's 140 USD shipping and extras vs prime 1. It's only 70 USD more from Prime 1 in the end. On a 1000 $ statue.

I am thinking of getting this one from P1 in case it has a very limited ES and sells-out. And in case sideshow doesn't get the ex. Or any at all.

Then I'll see for the next ones. If this one doesn't sell-out until release or sideshow gets some for sale, I am not buying the other ones from P1. maybe even waiting for sale, or getting only the few I really want.


Feels like a bad decision from P1 to let down sideshow. Hell, shipping on Bloodborne elieen from P1 is 400 ish.

I doubt it's bad for P1. It's just bad for US customers and everyone getting their stuff from SS. Don't you have a reseller in CA that doesn't use SS as a distributor?

I would recommend not Pre-Ordering the piece, unless you absolutely want it. It's not going to sell out. Only very few pieces of P1 sell out before they release. On the other hand, if you want to see the line continue, Pre-Ordering is the way to go.

Nope. The only ones I know are Toysquare, Imagination Hobby and Toytards vancouver and they all go through Sideshow.

It's bad for P1 if poeple don't buy because it's too expensive. They'll be stuck with this stock they'll take years to sell, or they will have to lower edition sizes. Which means higher production costs.

I am not sure sure how much they make on statues sold through sideshow. Probably much less than direct from their store.
If they want to switch to P1 store only sales then they should at least lower their prices to compensate for shipping.

And I really wanted it. Before I saw the price. I guess I will wait a couple of months and see after that.

I'd pay $400 for that statue in a heartbeat. But $800... no thanks.
