You'd make some savings, but not too much depending on which region you're from. UK's cheapest price is now GBP 89.99.
Aus price is hovering at $144-$148 atm. Getting one from the US would cost me around US$120. And the only issue I'd have with getting a US version is the probable DLC region locking issue for the PS3, I prefer to buy all my DLC via my main account. Luckily, there are no variants of this SE at this stage, and I don't think there will be either judging by R*'s trend.

Yeah, I opted to get it locally and have preordered at GAME, due to the price not being much more and I get it on release day, not 1-2 weeks afterwards.
As I only get 360 versions (except for PS3 exclusives) we don't know if the game will be region free so getting it from the US would be a gamble.

Right you say because of the recession but England has been hit just as hard and still get screwed over so I don't really see what your getting at.
U.S just seems to get them cheaper than everywhere else for some silly reason. :/
