It's tough. There is a LOT of glue on those side flaps. I don't know if you got the Zelda edition DS Lite a few years back but the box is glued exactly like that. And once you get it open there's no cardboard latch or anything to close the flap back up, so it will just hang open unless you tape it or something.

Edit: Also, it's meant to be opened on the yellow side, not the side with the warnings all over it. If you open it on the warnings side like I did you have to tear some extra cardboard inside to get the game out.
