Most likely because it's in German. Most collectors seem to be after the English version... even though you could just go buy the regular version and play that one in English.

believe it or not, actually the game has english language settings in the menu screening, and all sonic graphics are in english on all the swag you get, the german part is the instruction manual, the back of the box, and the download card info is in german..it's more of a german/english hybrid..but the game can be played in english

Really? That's good to know! I haven't even had time to try my copy yet (backlog too crazy, ugh), but I thought it would be in German only. Not that I'd mind, it's always interesting to see games in other languages, but it's nice that it offers both. I can take the North American version off my wanted list. And I guess that's an even bigger motivation to actually give that game a spin. Mostly just watched videos of it and listened to reviews. I usually test them, but since I thought I was going to get another copy, I considered just keeping one sealed for the first time ever (ain't happening now!).

Now I really don't know why the Amazon.de version isn't selling out.
Or most people actually believe it's only in German. I sure thought it was going to be!

the endless supply of sonic generations collectors edition for amazon.de seems to have no end..some months later now, there still up for sale..i think it's more like 120,000 instead of 12,000 hahaha

Yeah, it's probably only 1000 or so that's left, and it can't be 120,000 Twisted, they're individually numbered xx
