My guess is that it was supposed to go on sale, but they most likely got an internal eMail informing them to pull it off the shelves. If some stores have them and others don't, then that implies that maybe the problematic DLC was removed and they were given the all-clear to sell them. This would also explain why they don't come sealed

I guess they were all supposed to be returned back to GAME HQ, but some store managers kept them or hadn't gotten around to returning them. Someone obviously fucked up and put them out for sale in some stores, or didn't get the memo

I just received the special edition from game uk. It is the steelbook so now I have 2 copies hahaha
