Mmmmmm . . .major bummer. Stickerbook was almost a deal-breaker for me - certainly a far cry from the 4000 limited edition that we were promised originally - but then i saw the vid and I need that artbook.

It's been so long since i pre-ordered it that I'll believe it when I see it

Does that pic of the PS3 version look like a proper steelbook ?

Does to me so maybe the PS3 is getting the steelbook that was planned for the numbered edition (although there are more to go round now) and maybe they just cobbled together a stickerbook for the newly announced 360 version

But that photo isn't an actual photo, it's concept art, depicting what is to be included in the edition, so it's highly doubtful that it will be a steelbook and the Xbox 360 will be a stickerbook, especially since there are now more PS3 copies than Xbox 360 copies, and there are more PS3 copies than the original 4000 that were planned xx

I tend to agree but as I pointed out in the other thread, if there is a 'real' steelbook (and the other photo seems to imply there is and it's PS3 sized) then I suspect what's happened is that than was the original design, however when they announced that there were more copies it was easy to just run more of the 'real' steelbook - but for the X360 that would require making a whole new production run so I suspect is is POSSIBLE that they will be different.

Alternatively the photo of the 'real' steelbook was a one-off design copy that will no-doubt sell for millions one day

i just bought MGS HD Steelbook (PS3 SIZE) on ebay and seller confirm that PS3 = STEELBOOK and XBOX360 = STICKERBOOK
