What exactly has been falsely advertised? A stickerbook is a variant of a steelbook,its just none of us put much thought into it until recently.

I had thought variant steelbook would just be a steelbook with a different design to the one shown.


I'm not sticking up for Zavvi though,i think they're well dodgy,but I dont think we have any sort of legal claim unfortunately.

well no, because on 8th Dec zavvi told us (or led us to believe - whatever you prefer) that they were NOT STICKERBOOKS - hence no need to think about it, until a day or 2 ago when a video surfaces of a stickerbook. We even had (a few days prior to the video) people posting pics of a real steelbook so to be honest it seemed a cert:

cust asks 'hhmm tha looks like a stickbook'
zavvi say 'informed it's not stickerbook'
4/5 days ago pic of real steelbook confirm what's already been said
2 days ago video shows X360 is a stickerbook
today it's (apparently) confirmed PS3 is a stickerbook even tho we see even more real steelbooks surface on the web

so you can see why we've not thought about it - until 2 days ago there was no real reason to as 'we' were 'informed' it wasn't a stickerbook!
