Courier just arrived a couple minutes ago and I've finally got the ps3 edition in my hands. I'm glad that Zavvi used their common sense for once and packaged it with those air bags (covering the item), my box looked totally battered from the outside! There's some creases on the box but it appears to have been manufactured this way. It looks like they stored this in a warehouse for quite some time as there's quite a bit of dirt on the seal. Also included is my oh so nicely packaged platinum copy of MGS4!

Now the moment of truth: Is the included 'steelbook' a

A) Stickerbook?
B) Steelbook?

Answer: B

I'm pretty confident it will be a steelbook for all ps3 versions. There is simply no way they would split it into steel and stickerbooks; it makes no commercial sense!

unless they had the 4k arrive seperately...however I still have not seen a stickered PS3 to this day, yet loads of X360 and now a few PS3 real

was the MGS4 in the MGS HD box? is there any way of telling what steelbook without opening (i.e. different box or bar code?)

Barcode wise I have no clue but I'll most likely be ordering another set to compare. MGS4 was just chucked into the delivery box and is not inside the set. As I'm on my way to work I won't be able to get pics until late this evening or tomorrow... that is unless someone beats me to it.

Yea, mine was dirty as hell. Makes you wonder why they've been sitting on it for so long? It looks like at least a month or two's dust...

Great! The news everyone on SBHunterz has been waiting for! I think most people assumed it was going to be a StickerBook.

Any chance of a photo as evidence? I would do so, but mine is staying sealed...

we need to try and clarify things ASAP - if you guys can give us bar codes (or at least one of you and the other confirm it's the same) - also if there's any other info like - you were one of the initial 4K or not, once we get confirmation we can all be happy rather than playing this guessing game
