Its illegal to sell material without the correct australian ratings on the box

Same reason we're not allowed to trade in imported games

They put the sticker on the outer box only, the game itself still only has PEGI...so what's the point?

The game case is no different to the one you get from the UK, so I find they're rules about trading redundant when they're the ones technically selling "imported" versions.

And with all technicality, what EB sold isn't 'brand new' if they're opening the packages.

I understand what you mean, but EB also didn't do it the right way for collector's. To top it all off, the bonus Steelbooks actually received a slip cover with AU ratings printed on it and were also sealed/shrink wrapped!! [and that's a free item!!!] Figure that out!

Because costomers don't see the disc, they see the actual box instore. If the disc was on the shelf was on the store by itself, then it would need a sticker on it.

I also didn't realise so many people leave their collectors editions sealed??
