yes, but yours is X360, from memory there was no reason for damage to the interior packaging because it was holding just the stickerbook & game, so no real weight. However the book and t-shirt were just lose and rattling in the box under that...

the latest info is that there were XX that were real steelies and the rest are stickerbooks...this was confirmed by zavvi and would explain why we have been told PS3s are stickerbooks all along.

there must be a way for zavvi to tell them apart, the only sure way is the barcode...in theory all stock should be scanned at entry and exit of the stores...this was the practice when I worked in stores for a company around 12 years ago so...it would be the only way to easily keep stock levels right and far cheaper than any other potential system.
Lol referencing to what zavvi said is pointless though, they haven't got a clue.

Konami want to make money, it makes no sense creating two separate editions for a single platform...it would be to much hassle and time so for me the 4,000 steelbook theory doesn't hold much weight.

Not to mention the fact there hasn't been anybody who can prove otherwise.

I don't disagree mate, but then why tell val that the last of the real steelies were now gone? And why in a seperate facebook post say that there were so many real and the rest stickerbooks?

Just saying folk should be wary - don't forget this was changed so it could be that those 4K had been made already so then they switched the rest to stickerbooks

They told people a bunch of stories though, so with that in mind ill believe it when i see it, i believe if they were going to segregate the PS3 version in such a way then they would of kept the original edition and made this separate one we see now.

WOW i just went back through this thread and everyone of your posts is talking about the first 4000 are "steelies" and all others are gonna be stickerbooks.. i have a strong feeling you're going to be VERY disappointed when we all get steelbooks with the PS3 version..

if there are PS3 stickerbooks, why hasn't anyone recieved one yet?
zavvi hasn't been correct on anything about this release yet you take every word they say as the gospel??

Sounds all good about what you said about the barcodes, had two different barcodes existed then I may actually have some belief...but alas, that doesn't exist

This is Zavvi you're talking about....I really shouldn't need to say more but...

Why haven't Zavvi proven [physically] about the [mythological] elusive PS3 Stickerbook? Had they shown a video or real pics or if Konami themselves confirmed it....then I'd most likely believe it more and if it was actually confirm by a customer [by at least x100 customers] then that's it then!

hi, not at all - I hope they are all steelies - I just don't want folk to order thinking it is steelie when it's not! (or rather might not be)

well firstly if there are stickerbooks they will only be arriving from Monday, and of course I don't believe zavvi 100%, I just find it odd that they came up with a story saying they were all stickerbooks then saying only the first XX were steelies.

remember - if you buy and open you cannot return. I simply am saying to check the barcode BEFORE opening.

I agree, I just don't want folk opening things they can't return! If you check back I was the one doubting the guy who said he had a PS3 stickerbook...as stated until there's photographic evidence I don't fully believe it

Mine arrived today... What. The. Hell.

It had to be shipped overseas to the Netherlands, so you would expect Zavvi to make sure the packaging is top-notch to avoid damage during that time. Well, apparently they didn't even bother to put it in a box. That's right, it was shipped overseas in the plastic bag you see on the photo's, there was nothing else holding the edition. Due to this the upper left corner of the game has a large dent. I guess damage was to be expected when I read the stories of you guys, but I can't believe they shipped this in nothing more than a plastic bag!
