Mine finally came today and WOW. The box was completely squashed, tears all over the place, the box it came in was completely smashed!

I'm not that picky about condition but WOW what the hell is this! Absolutely brutal. It looked like a 10 year old packed it, all taped around randomly, in some crappy light box, with no padding whatsoever.

Thank god the steelbook was in perfect condition. It is a real nice one.

Ouch!! the steelbook is the only worthwhile item so be thankful its not squashed also

Got my MGS Today, although is not MINT outside, the inside took more damage.
Although I'm happy, after seeing those horrible pictures of some members, I'm quite happy with this.

Mine came a few minutes ago... the box is smashed and bended, it has dents and some corners are damaged... is not a pretty sight... but in comparison with another items already posted here is not that bad... lame, but no totally awful... Haven't opened it yet so i'm still thinking if I will send it back, because the postage will be very expensive.

I'll post pictures when I open the box

just received my direct from zavvi ordered edition today..SMASHED, in a very loose fitting flimsy flap style box to the US..I paid extra for gift wrapping..the sad part is, the gift wrap is immaculate...they wrapped up a rejected/returned?..box and sent it on it's merry way to me in the US..as the gift wrap is intact, but the box inside is crushed, and torn, the entire flap on the side is ripped off..even though the seal and gift wrap is intact and clean.

So glad I sent mine back lol although it was in mint condition I gave it a couple of punches so I could get a refund, and sold the MGS4 for £11 via amazon trade in.

Kind of feel guilty now as they'll just ship that item on to someone else!

Probalay re buy it for the contents when it's £17.99 in there sale as they have so many returns,

i really believe mine is a "returned item"..because how the box is really beat up badly, i mean, like i said beforehand, entire flaps are ripped off the package..but the gift wrapping and ribbon bow is perfect...

That is unethical on so many levels its unbelievable
