If you mean the german mediamarkt sealed then yes that is confirmed cos I have a G2 sealed copy. The design is the same as the australia/france G1 but it comes sealed with a slip cover.

I think you can still buy these from germany. I recall seeing some on ebay.de and amazon.de. Maybe get a german member to help
