My package finally arrived. Packaging took a beating, but at least the box escaped unscathed for the most part.

So after a month or so I finally got my replacement copy. At least it came in something that resembled a box this time, not a freaking trash bag.

Anyway, it's still kinda beat up on pretty much all the sides except the bottom. The packaging was pretty flimsy so the box inside got squashed a bit. Creases especially on the top side.

I guess this is as good as it gets. I'm just happy I got a decent looking one. And that concludes my business with Zavvi. For eternity.

Yet another Horror story on this edition. Zavvi has screwed big time. Can it really be that hard to send something better packed. Even doubled walled boxes would have protected it very well. What a disgrace.

you shouldn't have to put up with a poor copy, request a refund.

After over a month my edition reached me.Thankfull with minor damage.Uper left corner a little squased and a minor dent on the bottom of the box.Hardly noticable.But the inside was in a worse condition with the holders being destroyed from what appears to be water damage(!).Thankfully no damage to the contents whatsoever.And I didnt get my MGS 4 platinum copy even though my order was from the early 4000 limited batch

On the plus side, as of the 9th of March 2012 Zavvi have now ceased using Yodel as their primary courier, which is partially down to this CE as well as several others

Edit: I just noticed its also dropped in price on the ps3 too, but only to £49.95.

I couldn't resist getting another copy for PS3 at that price. I've already got it on both formats in pristine sealed condition so this one will be the one I open. Bought a bunch of other games too and used a code to get £10 off.
