Sorry, I read somewhere that Konami had already started printing the real steelbooks before they conjured up an Xbox360 version, therefore they had to cheapen it down to stickerbooks due to lack of time and their already twice delayed deadline releases.

My personal favs would have to be the Mortal Kombat or Duke Nukem Forever. I love them all though

No mistake gurpswoo,it just doesn't feel right to me. Usually you can push a steelbook with your finger and it feels both cold and hard but the batman steel feels almost soft and not cold,almost like they used a cheaper product.

No image inside either,piece of shit steelbook in my opinion(I know i'm very much in the minority).

Dont think much of the metal gear hd steel either.

I agree with you, the batman steelbook feels different from the other steelbook...it does feel cheap..more plastic-like feeling.

LOL - What I mean't is you made the comment twice by mistake.

I haven't personally touched an open Batman steelbook but there have been reports, well more opinions and guesses. That they used thinner metal and more plastic.

I guess it's a cost saving decision on the publisher.

Dreamcazman I know there are two or maybe three steelbooks for Mortal Kombat. Which one is the G2 Gloss version?

as far as detailed graphical print quality on steelbook, i would have to say the new north american AC III Steelbook, whether your a fan of the design or not, it looks fantastic at every angle, and has a lot of details and for once, it looks like they did'nt cut corners.

AFAIK there were only two, G1 & G2 variants, both Futureshop exclusives.

Those 2 were also included in the CE in Europe. UK copies didn't get the steel tho. Good way to get the steel is to buy the European CE as they seem to have dropped substantially in price.

There was also a G1 stickerbook from France.

Yeah I remember hearing that the CE was supposed to get the steelbook, but I bought it from GAME UK and didn't get one.

Didn't realise there was another CE for the rest of Europe.

Where can you get the European CE from?
