yeah, took me ages as well, didn't wanna put too much force and break it any idea how remove those stains? Don't wanna do something stupid that damages the whole thing

I had no problem actually pushing the feet onto the base and I too had a little paint rub off onto the base, probably from movement during transit.

Best way I found to get the paint off was a simple pencil eraser, took a few rubs and it was off. I wouldn't use anything too harsh on it otherwise it might ruin the plastic.

lol matrix me too i dont feel like opening mine as i wont be playing it anytime soon. And i just picked up LOTR war of the north CE for 30 bucks at EB =D

The game was a big let down... but still fun...

You should open it... simply case the figure is pretty neat and the "box inside the big box" that the figure comes in is pretty good for display

I've also never played a NG game...

bought dat LOTR CE just for the G2 steelbook. lol the only one in EB melb central
