Yeah, it was originally listed saying "We won't charge you until we dispatch this item." but then on the day the pre-purchase opened, they removed it.

Long story.

The prepurchase was delayed in opening, didn't open for orders until around 8.20 am, despite it being listed as opening at 8am - so I phoned up to check before it opened when they'd be charging.

The girl on the phone told me I wouldn't be charged until release date. So, good - I thought, and as soon as the prepurchase went live, I ordered a CE copy.

Few days later, went to the bank and broke down in tears because the money had been taken from my account (money that was actually in my account to pay for my Sky bill the next day).

My mum gave me the money as a loan, I paid it in, and called up Zavvi.

The girl I spoke to this time informed me that originally, only a small part of the payment was to be taken now, and the rest upon release date, but this was causing errors in their system, so they just decided to take the full payment now. I told her that I had been told I wouldn't be charged until release and she kept saying, yes that's what the plan was originally, a small fee now, and the rest on release.

Getting a bit flustered haha, I started crying and telling her that, no, I'd been told that NO money would be taken up front, and all she could say to me was that she was sorry I'd been given wrong information.

I asked if she could cancel my order, so that I'd still have the money in my account to pay my bills, and she said no, it's impossible to cancel after the money is taken as the order had already been processed and my prepurchase box (with the download keys etc) had already been sorted out in the warehouse for me.

I've been informed now though that you can get a refund (on release) if you return the CE and the prepurchase box (with the codes) UNOPENED, to them. But only if they are unopened. But obviously, release could be God knows when away...

But, yeah. Oh well. Life goes on...
