Shift 2 is getting the EA pre-order treatment

I presume this is both PAL and NTSC.

Shift 2 limited Edition (aka Need for speed shift 2) is being released sometime in the spring 2011.

It comes with some DLC codes for three cars:

- Nissan Silvia spec.R Aero (S15)
- Alfa Romeo Giulietta Q
- Lamborghini Murciélago LP640.

Not that great of an edition really, but one never the less.

Too bad that EA translates Limited Edition as "just add few DLC codes and charge it extra or sell it under First Release".

Yup, another sub-standard CE from EA. What a surprise!

I recently Tweeted:

"Need For Speed Shift 2 Unleashed (Limited Edition) - Yet another sub-standard LE offering from @EA! Pointless lack of effort!"

Hopefully if enough people do the same then they'll get the hint that we don't want their shoddy offerings!

Do we know whether these are going to be pre-order only, or just an earlybird release like Medal Of Honor: Tier 1 Edition?
