It's bad news for decent honest collectors (like us) who own both a PS3 and X360 and may want one of each. I agree that buying two identical copies is suspicious, but surely one for each format should be allowed?

Also, it's a bit of a downer for anyone arranging a group buy for collectors outside of the UK who can't obtain this edition due to the weight restrictions. Unfortunate for a few people in this thread who I know are die hard Borderlands fans who desperately wanted this edition...

I agree with you but... If you have xBox and PS3 it would be fair to buy one Collectors edition and one normal edition for the platform you choose... With that you have what you want and give some one else the chance to get what he wants... But this is just my opinion...

Like I say, Twitter is an invaluable resource for finding out new info as and when it's announced, and also a great way for me to share this info with you guys! I can also communicate directly with CM's of publishers / developers / retailers, and relay feedback from the collecting communities, which is one thing I feel that they are all bad at (notable exception to Ghostlight here, as they regularly visit CE.O to research what we would want in a CE!)

Was just Googling the net about this whole ULCE fiasco, and came across this website. Cool

Didn't know there was a forum dedicated to CEs. I too ordered the CE from the UK Game store as I'm in Australia and EB's sold out within a few days. Man, the ULCE was right in front of my eyes but I thought I'd wait for a bit to see if a competing store would sell it for cheaper (which they are, both the standard and the other edition) but they didn't get allocated any ULCE stock. Then when I found out, I went back to EB literally a few hours later and they'd been sold. I was devastated. If only the Aus GAME branch didn't go into administration...

So, my Game order hasn't been cancelled yet and I dunno if it's going to be cause I'm shipping to an Aus address. Amazon doesn't ship to Aus, and WOWHD is selling console editions for $200 almost, which is $50 more than it should be. Not to mention the fact the disc's in NTSC and not PAL so I wouldn't even be able to play it. I ordered the PC edition, so I wouldn't have to worry about that for the PC. I'll just get a standard edition for my Xbox from over here.

I see that DarkKitarist knows a company which ships to his region from the UK. Would anyone happen to know of one which would ship to Australia? If not, looks like I'm out of luck. If worse comes to worse, I'll just buy the overpriced ULCE from WOWHD just for the stuff that comes with it and buy the game separately.

yeah i got the exact same anwser but i wrote 6 e-mails stating that i changed the shipping address to an address within the UK... So if they cancel my order i'll be pissed and i'm being mild here...
