As for talking of scalpers, I think inflated preorder prices on eBay is a bit much. Besides that, I'm a reseller and I have no problem saying that. I'm a collector as well, but I honestly don't have to money to collect typically; the only way I can is by reselling stuff I don't want as much so that I'm able to buy things I do want.

Just something to think about before bashing "scalpers" is they're being called. I personally would love to buy this edition and open it up and keep it, but I will probably keep it sealed as an investment while I just buy a standard copy to play.

I don't think, from what you described, you are considered a "scalper" Idio.

Scalpers are those who buy MASSIVE quantities of the same edition, knowing full well it's limited, and then reselling it either before release or shortly after.

Just buying 1 or 2 copies, and keeping 1 sealed for investment does not make you a scalper. You would have to specifically buy to resell ALL the time and do it precariously and with evil, menacing intent.
