Sorry, I can't consider myself luckier. In a country with a messed up economy and 3rd world politicians, minimum salary is less than 500 euros, we don't get half the stuff you guys in the UK get, games are far more expensive on release date and they maintain that price for a much longer period. Many games here are opened by distributors to include instructions, translation stickers and an authentication stamp that's an atrocity and hides an additional tax that's even illegal according to the UE rules and nobody does anything about that, so the original cellophane with the playstation/nintendo stripe is removed. One of the main importers in this country is directly connected to the entity that created the stamp, which eliminates all the competition from smaller companies and other importers that could get the games directly from the UK etc for a cheaper price than the retail value.

Microsoft does something even worse. Lately, they open the games and place the stamp not on the box but on the front cover, directly on the paper insert. In Halo Anniversary, they ruined the beautiful slipcase by placing the stamp directly above the slipcase, partially hiding the Masterchief. So, basically, even when you find yourself a good deal in this country, you always have to live with this drama most of the times. The IGAC Drama. IGAC means Inspecção Geral das Actividades Culturais. In english, it should be something like Cultural Activities General Inspection if my translation is accurate (CAGI to make it short). Only a few distributors do a good work. One I recall is Sony itself, lately they have released all games factory seal if I remember. Namco Bandai too. ... so sad I can't do much to make this change and nearly no one listens to me. But most collectors in Portugal have pretty low standards. Even if they don't have much money, they still don't care much. That stamp is mandatorey, regular costumers know they need it for warranty purposes, so people are getting used to buy games with the stamp. It's even illegal to sell games and software without it. Even demo discs in cereal boxes must have that... Last edited by Saturn; 05-30-2012 at 04:28 PM. |

Unless a US store with international shipping options lists this edition, you'll have to find someone from the US to send it to you...

That kind of resellers over here is almost non-existant. They don't bother reselling because most people will pay the same price no matter if it's sealed or not.
