A real enthusiast on the PC world.
Although he's been a bit slow in the past year with his computer stuff.

The problem with PC hardware is that they depreciate in value so fast.

Yeah, that is the bad news. I'm trying to sell my computer to my classmate so I can downgrade to i5 etc. and have spare money left, but as I calculated the new parts, its the same price as my current system

Just wondering. Do you guys think the Intel i7 950 will bottleneck with the next generation video cards like the Radeon HD 8850 in the future?

The way I see it, beyond a certain point the whole enthusiast PC gaming market is very much a "money to burn" sort of arena - noone should really buy a 30k or even 3k system unless they don't need to worry about the cash for exactly that reason - in 4ish years the latest, most badass hardware will still be starting to feel the strain!

I couldn't agree more
It's just the sense that your whole system could beat the 3Dmark etc. or atleast get on the rankings for having the best console, OC and everything LOL
