Max Payne 3 Special Edition available for pre-order

Amusing story . . .my local indy retailer has had one copy of the PS3 edition in for yonks. I've watched it fall to £80 . . .then £70 . . .down to £60 for a long time and, finally, £50 where it has stayed for weeks. I was told at another branch that it cost them £50 and wouldn't go any lower.

Today i walk into my local store and sarcastically said to the guy "has that Special Edition fallen to £40 yet?" - even though it still had the £50 label.

He said "If you want it for £40 you can have it - be glad to get rid of the bloody thing !!"

Exit me with Max Payne Special Edition . . .and to think i was seriously thinking about pre-ordering for £100.

Patience has its' own rewards, folks
