Wal-Mart retail stores started selling these Special Editions at midnight, which would've been a preferable option for me, but I couldn't resist the allure of a free T-Shirt!

I had mine on pre order for ages as being a retro collector I know how much my copies of 1 and 2 are worth. My import copy of the ps3 special edition is here and I am itching to play it but it's going to remain sealed and I will open the 360 one.

Gurps - try and pre order the steel book from Gamestation if it's still available

I don't see the shirt on their online store, but I found an eBay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Marvel-vs-Capcom...item1c196c0441

It's the European promo tshirt, which is different from the NA promo tshirt.

I risking this not selling out and purchase it later for a lower price.

maybe someone can tell me why everyone is so gaga over this release?

It's pretty much just a SteelBook and for a genre that historically doesn't hold it's value.

I don't know why people are bidding so much, maybe it was a limited run in north america which wouldn't apply to this release.

Now that I look at it the bidding history seems a bit fishy.
