So I'm thinking of not buying any more games from Futureshop with steelbooks, and just buy them later on at the end of the year (cuz my backlog is huge lol) and picking up the steelbooks on ebay.
Does anyone think this would be cheaper than buying a new game at full price with a free steelbook?
I'm only considering this because it looks like Futureshop switched to in store only steelbook giveaways

I'm sure it depends on whether or not you're going to buy those game at some point regardless of the steel.

You can get most FS steels for 15 to 25 bucks if you're patient so if you do want the game as well you'd have to wait until that was 35 or 40 bucks to break even and then you're getting a used game instead of new.

Honestly it might be better to buy all the games you want get the steel for free and then just buy the steels for games you don't want/ don't want to pay retail for.
