Long story short... another call this afternoon, a call back from Tom this evening (yes - a call back!!)
And suddenly tonight... Message from paypal... DigitalRiver UK SARL just sent you a refund 10 Jan 2013 22:12:29 GMT Dear Margaret, DigitalRiver UK SARL just sent you a full refund of ?24.99 GBP for your purchase. If you have any questions about this refund, please contact DigitalRiver UK SARL Yup!! A refund!! Finally! Talk about squeezing blood.... Now just waiting for the post refund and about to write a letter to the Support Director UK and the CEO of Ubi in France to let them know exactly what I think of ther company... I was nice to Tom though - poor guy - picked the wrong job there!!
