@ James

Thanks I really do like the idea of press kits although I'm sure they're crazy addicting like steelbooks but more expensive

Although the infamous press kit doesn't seem to be that rare really as it's always on ebay?

Happy with it nonetheless

@ twisted

Thanks for the kind words

I always wonder about posting pics of my pickups as I am such a small fish on here compared to people who get the super rare stuff

And some pickups that came today

Sealed German Assassin's Creed III steelbook & German Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 Steelbook

Now I have all 4 AC III steelies Sealed

And a group shot of all my AC steelies

Now just 2 more to get......

I'm missing that crazy rare Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Stickerbook from the netherlands and the Directors Cut PC Steelbook for AC 1 that was sold in the UK and a couple other countries I think?

I have serious doubts I'll ever have the ACB stickerbook in my collection although I never thought I'd have the ACII stickerbook so I guess anything is possible

The AC 1 PC steelbook is more of an annoyance to me than anything. I've seen it for sale multiple times but I can never tell what condition it's in. Even after asking the sellers, I'm still not usually convinced it's as nice as they say because it's so old. I'll definitely get it eventually when I find the right one

lol suprised you don't have that? I would've thought you would snag the figure at some point.

I'll have to keep an eye out for one for you then

Besides you brits can't complain, your altair figure is a 10 inch statue and can sell for up to 150 euros or so by itself

Crazy considering how cheap the original run of them got

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/assa...ncludes-397960

Man do I want that 10 inch altair

if you really want a Dutch AC Brotherhood steel my advice is to keep looking on marktplaats.nl because thats the main selling/trading site for our country and you should also look on ebay.nl because if its the listed as postage to the Netherlands only it doesnt always show up on ebay.com and u can still try to lett them ship to your country
had that with a few Spanish and French things i bought didnt show up on the main ebay and luckily they were whilling to ship to the Netherlands

Didn't see these comments lol

Steelbooks are made by a company called Scanovo

All of the products and variations they make can be found here:

http://steelbook.com/product/steelbook-dvd/?rs=2

If it is a steelbook it will say inside it as all known steelbooks have the same logo inside

Stickerbooks are actually made by scanovo as well, they use the same steelbook cases but instead of painting on them they simply adhere stickers

Much cheaper to make but also looks much cheaper

And for the most part I only collect steelbooks made by scanovo but do have some metalpaks and I'm sure one day I'll get some of the other AC metal tins

I asked about the jumbo because I was curious not because I wouldn't be interested regardless

lol probably a bit of the grass is always greener over there

I will say that most of the AC launch kits are cooler than the AC press kits but the AC II crimson book press kit is super awesome

The Uncharted 2 Promo Launch Journal is cool but it's actually a lot cheaper looking in person than photos would suggest

It's like the only item I've ever had that actually looks better in photos than in real life

Still cool though
