Part of me is a little snarky that its going for two weeks because those who are nefarious and don't care can create multiple facebook accounts and hedge their bets. With 2 weeks or so, I could write an algorithm and have it run, even spoofing IP addresses to create thousands of my own accounts to do just that, so it stands to reason that those who have no integrity or have differing scruples/morals than I could do the same -- hopefully at least they'll limit it by IP address, but I don't suspect they're going to do that.

Anyway, just figured I'd mention it here -- though I'd be insanely jealous if any of you got it, I'd be much happier than if someone who cheated or just intended to put it on eBay won it. Best of "luck"!

Thanks Knight! A signed card eh? They didn't happen to show it in the stream did they? The statue is gorgeous for sure, I couldn't be happier with it! I got the Exclusive because, hell, if I'm going to pay $500+ for a statue (with S&H), it damn well better light up!

I'll definitely have to make a throwaway Facebook account just for this contest and also put in an entry for for my lady (and one for everyone else in my family...lol no I kid, I kid ). Assuming no one tries out your algorithm idea, about how many entries do you think there could be by the deadline? Just over 500 at this point. Hopefully it stays reasonably low, and any cheaters would be found out if there were suddenly thousands of suspiciously similar posts. Best of "luck" to you too bud! lol!

Yeah, they posted the 3 different options to vote for on the FB page for the cards earlier today. They do a lot of voting -- that's actually why its a signature card in the first place I believe. They wanted to do something to reward those who still made ordering right away a priority (like they used to with the limited run sizes) but not make it such a big deal that those who ordered within the original 2-week run later had a drastically different version (like with an additional "exclusive" statue piece or something).

And yeah, nothing wrong with getting your friends, family, and such to chime in for ya -- its just when they're not legitimate people that it becomes an issues. My suggestion to them would be simply rule out anyone whose account was created within the last 24hrs or something, but then I suppose that'd rule out your account which obviously isn't trying to take advantage of the system. I suppose there's a few thousand people that are fans on facebook of both their regular page and their CC club page, though only about 500 or so were on the livestream, so its likely a 1 in 2500 or so chance (plus friends/family/etc.) I'd imagine.

Stinks that they're just yet another trading card set rather than a playable card game set like was first hinted at.

Yeah, was announced originally just for Australia if I remember right. Now you can buy it in the US too. Right, no gameplay involved, which I agree sucks. With how rare the Gold Foils are, if you want a complete collection you're going to be spending hundreds of dollars on thousands of cards and throwing practically all of them away since duplicates are worthless without a game to play. I think I'll pass. Maybe buy a complete set further down the road when they don't cost much.

Also, haven't heard from anyone else yet, but did anyone who got the NYC 30th anniversary T-shirt/Cel Art Series #2 notice that on the back of the COA it says "3 of 6"? I feel like I'm missing one somewhere? Or do you think they just released them out of order?

That's this one? I'm not aware of a third yet but I'm not paying close attention, either.

Edit: Oh, and somebody post what's in that Zelda Mystery Box when it comes out tomorrow. I didn't buy one so I want to see how much I regret that (if at all)!

Also, Zelda Informer already did I believe. I didn't click through everything though as I wanted to be somewhat surprised when I get mine.

Looks like all those art prints on eBay have the same "3 of 6" label, and there don't seem to be any "2 of 6"s yet.

I found an unboxing video for that Mystery Box. There's maybe one thing in there I'd like to have, the rest I would have sold on. Seems to be the way these "box" things go.

Oh man F4F just announced the winner for the prototype Skull Kid figurine and it wasn't one of us. Bummer!!
