Risen 2: Dark Waters Collectors Edition and a very strange exclusive version revealed

ultima.pl is now offering a so called "Edycja Piracka Oberża" for Xbox 360 (http://www.ultima.pl/risen_2_mroczne..._bonus/i11482/) and PS3 (http://www.ultima.pl/risen_2_mroczne..._bonus/i11481/) for 359.90 zł each, which seem to be identical to the Edycja Kolekcjonerska for the PC.

... and I got an e-mail from them today:

we are very sorry but we have an information that the collectors edition of Risen 2 is not working in Germany because of localization.
We should cancel Your order and give You back Your money.

Note that they didn't cancel my order.

Nonetheless I doubt, that it won't work:
1.) The polish publisher has given the information, that the Edycja Kolekcjonerska will be released in a "podwójnej wersji językowej" (dual-language) Version, in English and Polish; source: http://www.cenega.pl/news/ujawniamy-...czne-wody/7367.
2.) The game has to be activated via Steam, so it 1st will most likely be possible to download any other language via steam and 2nd I won't have any problems activating it, even if the acitivation is region blocked.

I already had a chat with them. Just tell them you plan to keep it for collection and it will be fine. It was actually just a warning saying that it might not work in our region but he probably google translated his message so it sounds kind of funny.

I know, I know... I immediately e-mailed them and they instantely answered, that they didn't cancel my order; therefore I wrote "Note that they didn't cancel my order", to prevent any occuring panic. ^^

That's cool, but as I have a Xbox 360 CE coming next month, I will be happy with the PC version as I din't intend on playing it anyway!

Deep Silver have just announced that the release date for the PS3 and X360 versions has been put back to the 31st of July (North America) / 3rd of August (Europe)

The PC version is apparently unaffected, and will still launch on the 27th of April as originally planned

Awesome! ^o^ That is fantastic news! Got more time to worry about getting the CE for this and more time to work through my back catalogue of games! ^o^

I usually hate it when games get pushed back, but usually it's just inconvenient. Well done deep silver for keeping your customers happy! ^o^
