If they had already been in talks, wouldn't they have said it before. The post about "Holding Talks with Ubisoft" only came after I posted my pics on their page.

All seems very shady to me..

I think the talks have only started because of you and the rest of us contacting UBisoft directly

They will certainly have the power to force its close

UBisoft probably sees it as free extra money, charge the company a license fee and a percentage of royalties per sale = free income

Probably what Lowly said. If Ubisoft is going to make money out of this, why not give them the license? How much will the license cost depends on both them.

I wonder what happened to the Hot Toys license, maybe we will understand the situation a little better.

Still waiting for V's contact to update here and whoever else has contacted Ubisoft. They could also be not allowed to say for the time being. Just hoping everything reaches a conclusion soon

I contacted five desperate heads of or but doubt I'll get a response
I also put the question through the customer service channels who said I will eventually get a response
I assumed hot toys decided to give up the license but who knows

Oh well.. Was hoping they could reach an agreement with Ubisoft but I guess not. Wonder what Ubisoft said about the license. Straight out no because of their license with McFarlane? Or couldn't come to terms? Or they didnt even bother and just got Facebook to close down the page?

Unfortunately, our last page was deleted by Facebook might be due to any complaint by any company. We are right here and you all have your orders intact, just the only thing that will change is that we will not use any of the game or company registered name but our figure will be renamed as The Assassin!
I hope our quality will prove us the best. We are custom Figure makers and we are not using name of any of the used characters in the game or somewhere

If they do good figures in nice shiny boxes for all 4 assassins and nice elaccessories well we'll see where I stand
But glad they finally renamed there product

Feels less like a scam to me and more like just unlicensed figures tbh

Still I have no interest in them

After all give me a day with a 3d printer and a handful of sweat shop workers and I'll produce something similiar
