Sorry, I made a mistake above. I went through the numbers a few minutes ago, and the system tells me that there are about 2,725 pieces remaining; which means that about 2,275 have been sold.

That's still pretty damn impressive. I'm sure this will sell out soon enough.

Just bought it right now. Bought the Add On version (without the game) which makes it 140$ in total which I think is a good price for something which is limited to 5000 pieces and you can?t buy anywhere else.

I thought it was just a standalone version, guess it will be bundles with these games anyways then? If not, why would these Dev Team Editions be sold in this way?.

I like this CE, and I like this idea.
I've thought about this long ago, where developers/publishers offer the CE individually without the game so that we may have the option/choice of the CE we want instead of having to purchase every variations and different CE released locally and regionally (specially for our favourite franchises).

I encourage other developers to release this type of CE as well as making available for everyone and anyone to purchase.

This was explained by Ryan's post (Treehouse dude) from Page 11 of this thread.

None of the game bundle orders will come with the game inside the box anyway, they'll come separated from the Dev Team CE.

I'm guessing they split it up due to how many copies of the games they have, but if all of the "add-on" copies sell out, I imagine they'll remove some of the games, and add more stock to the "add-on" part, as they said that they'd prefer people to buy the add-on instead of the copies with game xx
