Really? This morning when it was showing out of stock online, there were people mentioning they had just pre-ordered in-store but had to pay in full as the site was saying "sold out".

If the Batmobile Editions were indeed all packed in the warehouse and ready for shipment, I would have thought that two weeks before release copies of unboxing videos would begin to emerge! I've scoured through the dark night for unboxing videos only to rise with no results!

I think they might have a licensing issue..or they might decide to make more money buy selling them to North Korea LOL..or some other obscure area..it's known to happen...mattel sometimes ships highly desireable toys by cancelling them for the North American market and sending them to other Asian markets because they go for 3 to 4 times more than the price in the US.

Best Buy ended up emailing consumers who had their orders canceled a $50 gift code. That was quite nice of them to do that.

Yeah in the U.S. Gamestop didn't do anything for their customers to my knowledge only Amazon and Best Buy did. What is kind of funny is I ended up pre-ordering the standard edition at a Microsoft Store and went down to pick it up last night. I was the last customer in the store and they were having issues with ringing me out so the manager handed me my copy and said "Here, too many issues with our sales computer so compliments of Microsoft" and gave me my copy for free.
