Is PepitaStore the one responsible for shipping these CEs out??

If yes, they have done terrible job, rival to DigitalRiver

I got an email from Pepita to call the SE support, and they informed me to submit a ticket which I did, but he kept asking me to open the box to check the contents, which I'm weary of doing. Has anyone else heard back, or reach a solution?

Googlie did the guy say why u should open it? And if everything inside was good, would he compensate you anything?

I am also in the same boat as you, except mine they never ask me to open the box check things inside. SE store said they would get back to me, after they got my pictures.

I will update you guys again once i hear from them.

Pepita has done a terrible job... I don't see why Square Enix doesn't use amazon. At least they do very well with packaging.

That's not entirely true, My Ghost edition, Bravely Default CE, and Ys CE all came in horrible condition. The only reason id prefer amazon is that in each case they refunded 100% of what I paid AND let me keep the item

H wanted me to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with the contents. He didn't mention any compensation, just told me to submit a ticket.

Yeah amazon hasn't been doing a great job lately but it is because if their refund policy that I buy my CE from them from time to time. Like the Persona q CE they sent it to my old address and I already changed before they shipped it but it didn't change current preorders address. They gave me another one free of charge.

i talked to square enix on the phone for about an hour yesterday, the guy seemed cool. he told me to open my ce's and play the game, he also said that they plan on taking care of everyone whos ce's were damaged. i guess we will see, im not opening mine regardless, no matter how they plan on making this right. He made it sound like they might send us all the ce items again without needing ours back, or maybe just the box. he wasnt allowed to say but he said they will definitely be taking care of everyone.

I e-mailed them. If they could just send new CE boxes that would be fine by me. Of course, packaged well. We'll just see how they handle this.
