I keep wondering if these games will be sought after later down the line. Yes they are limited and rare but is the nostalgia factor there? Is anyone going to be nostalgic about 'Thomas was alone' or 'Firewatch'?

I bought into the first wave of these games (then sold them on except for a couple) but now I will only buy one if it interests me.

Purposely making stuff rare doesn't necessarily make them sought after.

Sorry for the rant.

Limited Run Games had tweeted out there's a real possibility that here on out..there "limited run releases" will be sold at BEST BUY stores across USA/Canada..nationwide..but with "variant covers" to help distinguish them from their on-line sales on sales days at limited run website ..and the same game being sold nationwide at BEST BUY and the BEST BUY website..how does the limited run game collector community feel about this?..also some say it's adding insult to injury..but the BEST BUY variant covers will have individualized limited edition numbers printed on them..whereas the limited run games website games will continue to be sold as is...how does everyone feel about a large chain picking up the limited run titles?..do the limited run games still feel special to you?..or do you view them now as another publisher in a long list of niche publishers, like NIS? SNK? ATLUS? PQUBE? etc?

It will suck having to buy extra variants for games I'm interested in, but overall I will end up buying a lot more of their releases if this is the case. It would be a significant cost reduction for Canadians ($20+ in shipping per order to free).

Just a tip moving forward in case anyone misses a release they really wanted.

Managed to get a copy before it was too late. It sold out in seconds. So many people missed it unfortunately.

I wonder if they will produce more for the rest of the games in the series.
