Got mine preordered. I am taking absolutely NO chances with this thing selling out! I have absolutely no problem with splurging on this release. This is FF7 afterall! This was my childhood!!!

lol, I've never played it, never played any of the FF tbh.

Not a fan of JRPG's, but this looks great, glad it's not turn based.

Turn based is my jam! I'm liking the gameplay as it seems like a happy medium between full action and the strategic turn based gameplay. It it were fully turn based I'd be 100% on board though.

But I grew up with this game in 97 so I completely understand why some people wouldn't want it.

Yeah, I grew up in the early 80's, different era.

Having said that, a few of my friends of the same age love FF7, I just never got into it.

I have such vivid memories of this game. I was 13 when it released and me and a couple of friends would talk about it all the time as we played it. Then came 8 and I was disappointed that it strayed from 7.

This is my most anticipated game ever! I really hope they knock it out of the park with this remake.
