Whats the surprise on the fact that there will be differences in all sizes?
If they are printed in the same factory, doesnt matter if is a G2 or G4, the pantones used will all be the same

Put a disclaimer in the thread about the "issue" and everyone looking into the list seeing a certain steel was released in multiple regions can put 1 and 1 together.

Agreed, a bold disclaimer at the top like "Regional steelbooks may have slight colour differences", followed by just listing which regions the steelbook was available in.

From my point of view the most important thing is to keep the database clear and clean. When a user highlights a color difference between 2 steelbooks with photo evidence you want to integrate this new info in the database, but like we said it is very likely these color variations will grow and grow over time because of the different factories. Also I believe the majority of the collectors don't really care.

When new info is brought up, I think you should always integrate into the list, but don't give it a prominent place like a new line. Personally i think an asterisk with the 2 regions the col. var. is between in parentheses would be a good simple solution, so for example:

Marvel’s Avengers – Earth’s Mightiest Collector´s Edition (EU,NA) (PS4,XB1) *(EU/NA)

To further support my point. A more recent example. Little nightmares 2 Stay tuned bundle vs TV Edition. One of the logos is more purple (US one) than the other. A similar difference in shade can also be observed on the boxes.

If they can't get a steelbook that's 90% black consistent, they can't get anything right. Thus I would bet money that every single steelbook will have differences.
