Ebay cheater?

How do preorders on ebay work anyway? If you preorder months in advance, I think paypal only gives you 45 days from payment to open a case.

By the time the item is released, it could be way past the 45 days so if there are any problems how do the buyers get refunds?

They don't work. I preordered Monster Rancher for the DS for my GF a couple years ago and about a week before the release date, it got pushed back until June (From Feb). So I waited, and when the release date came round, I contacted the seller to remind them of my preorder, and got no response. Contacted them about 3 times. Couldn't make a claim off paypal and ebay didn't offer any help either. I think it's the only time as a buyer that I've ever lost money on ebay. I tried to do a credit back at the bank, but they couldn't do anything either.

So you gotta decide if the chance is worth taking, otherwise you might end up getting ripped off... >.<

Personally, I wouldn't preorder anything from ebay due to the risk factor. Also, if they are up for preorder on ebay, 9/10 times it's at an inflated price, so for that alone, I'd pass even though I really want it, and just hope I can find one cheaper after release or something xx
