The steelbook is part of the japanese special edition it contains the making of..., it's not that rare.

Well I bought it with the special edition for 50 dollars including shipping...it is not bad I think...

Yes so assuming you mean 50 USD then that is a very good deal assuming the special edition is in very good condition.

Just not a super rare steelbook but congrats on getting it for a good price

Man I really hate bringing anyone down but that one is far less rare than simply a pain in the ass to get

There is usually about half a dozen asian sellers on ebay selling very good conditions of the special edition that came in for right around 80 USD shipped

Here's one for example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PS3-Import-M...item5d36596d88

They made a ton of those editions to my knowledge as they are all over yahoo japan auctions and amazon.co.jp

I think it's more just the issue of either getting it exported from japan or finding it on a non-japan ebay in all honesty

I guess it really depends on what you payed for it to determine whether or not it's a good deal

Btw you should really just put this on your intro thread and not create a new intro thread
