Gamestop Germany is selling the CE exclusively to Gamestop + Level 3 members No idea what that means but they're definitely not getting any money from me.

Just placed my pre-order at the Rockstar Warehouse for "only" 129.99 euro including free shipping.

rockstar will meet and most likely EXCEED demand..just need to ramp up production..look what they did to the ultra exclusive max payne 3 collectors edition (as originally announced)...rockstar is not gonna turn down the $$$$$$.

That was what I was thinking.. They made it sound as if the Max Payne 3 SE was very limited but then it's still widely available everywhere. Although it seems the situation now is different, I wouldn't be surprised to see more stocks turning up. Already pre-ordered from GameStop USA just to be safe

In scenarios like this I like to think back to before Halo 4 was released

I swear there was some article by a big name gaming journalist company like IGN or the like that said the Halo 4 CE was to be very limited and interested fans should pre-order now to make sure you get one

Over 600,000 Halo 4 CE's later and I'm not sure it was all that limited.......

Borderlands 2 Loot Chest? So much Hoo-Haa about being numbered and all. Few thousand extras and prices slashed by almost half and I still see them everywhere.

There are some.........

A good rule of thumb is 10,000 or less produced worldwide and then it has a good chance of actually being limited

So Dead space 1 & 3, probably quite a few australian editions, Dead Island Treasure Chest Edition, ACIII Charity Edition, UC2 Fortune Hunter Edition, and there's more of course probably better examples too as I included some competition/charity editions in there

Even the ACII Black Edition was limited to 50,000 supposedly and that's quite rare and HTF at least the UK version

I've always wondered if the ACII black edition was limited to 50,000 copies worldwide or per language or what

I will say that truly limited editions are rare lol

THE CE IS NOT EB EXCLUSIVE
i rang a bunch of jb hifi stores today and after about 12 stores i found a place willing to sell me one. you should try it if you are serious about getting one. they are selling it for 170$ with a 50$ deposit and most of they either say that they are sold out or that they are not allowed to sell any more because they only get a few allowed per store.
