I love the art on official Steelbooks, but I'm always really partial to minimalist vector art that I see people making custom boxart for. Aside from the convenience of having a collection of steelbooks at my disposal, the custom uniform art is what's really appealing to me.

How many more than a couple? Like 3? Because that's almost double a couple! You might as well get 4!

For sure, 10 down, 3990 to go! Almost there!

You have to pick who you share with and work out visitation rights.

LOOKS LIKE (and again this is kind of hearsay), but about $3 or so. Maybe cheaper, maybe more, I have no idea, but get that number in your head if you want.

Well, then don't let me disappoint.

Going to get on the horn now for more information from these guys regarding prices and what not.
I'll take about 10 of these so yeah more then a couple as I said earlier

I am also interested in this. if done through a trusted party I would participate in a group buy. How many would depend on the price. at say $1 a pop I would be in for 200 at least.

I am looking for these to be nice cases for my custom discs I make for rocket launches I shoot (video and pictures) LOVE the look and feel of steelboxes.

I might even be able/willing to handle a purchase and "ship" to those who chip in (you pay shipping of course) I am relatively local depending on what part of ohio it is in. (I live in pennsylvania outside philly) so what> 7 to 10 hour drive or so.

how much space would 4000 consume? how HEAVY would 4000 be? might be easier/cheaper to frieght ship to one location for that person to divvy up the order.

Unfortunately this is an idea that's reached it's end state as nothing more than a wish.

With 4000 as the minimum order (and the steelbook rep not getting back to me on price), it seems there's simply not enough interest via this avenue alone to justify the purchase.

Perhaps in the future, with more people on board, we can get this done.

If the price is good round about 1-2 dollar I would take 200-300 hundred

I've got connections with access to a laser-etching tool that can do any complex designs fairly easily, wonder what they'd want to do a bunch of steelbooks? (might have to pull some favors haha)
