Re: What is your RAREST collector item?
Hmm, probably:
Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops KonamiStyle Limited Premium Pack, only 2500 were made. Uncharted 3: Explorer Edition, always really expensive on eBay. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Limited Edition. |

Re: What is your RAREST collector item?
My rarest item would have to be this Fallout New Vegas Poker set i got from some Xbox live sweepstakes thing. Only 3 were made so it must be rather rare.

Re: What is your RAREST collector item?
Didn't even know it exists. Could you post some more pics of what's inside? |

Re: What is your RAREST collector item?
Rarest? That's hard. Probably my NECA Big Daddy plush doll replicas. Those are quite hard to come by. I have other items that aren't necessarily hard to find, but are valuable or rare to find for a good price/in complete condition.

Re: What is your RAREST collector item?
I was invited to the ceremonial opening (which included the traditional breaking of a sake barrel flown from Japan) of Kojima Productions' LA studio in 2013. I requested the autograph myself. One other side of the cup shows the Konami logo while the other side is blank. According to one of the hosts, 200 of these cups were made. |

Re: What is your RAREST collector item?
Picture resolution is low because it has been over twelve years since I got this and scanned it. Phantasy Star Online Launch Party Admission Ticket, Sega of America had planned an honest to goodness launch party for the game to be hosted at the Glas Kat. Word is it got cancelled due to, then Sega of America President, Peter Moore's pre-mature press announcement that the Dreamcast was out of production. Sega Corporate (Japan) had planned to withold that information from the public until summer.
I'd fare a guess that this is my rarest gaming collectible, next to a couple other corresponding items, all equally rare no doubt, but the admission ticket itself is the real gem. Click on the link under the picture if you'd like to see more of my PSO collection. I don't even recall what I paid for this as it has been so long ago. But, I did ask the Ebay seller after winning the auction where he got the items to which this was among from. Was told he had a friend that had, at that time, recently terminated his career working at the Sega of America corporate office and upon clearing out his office space gave him a box load of odd promotional items that he'd cleaned out of his workspace upon leaving the company.
