There's a decent chance it's legit. But on the other hand, infringing on a trademark is not unheard of... And is somewhat prevalent in China. Or maybe Ubi were planning to sell these to the public but cancelled for whatever reason. Could be pure arts is selling the leftovers secretly. But to be frank, the only thing that irks me now is their decision to sell these "under the table". They'll sell much slower compared to McFar Eddie and Ezio Fur, I think. Advertising them openly will speed things up especially with news that there're only 250.

If the question abt whether the statue is official or not, I would say its 'official' in the terms that they have the license for AC.

But I think the question is whether they were allowed to make 250 statues of which some are to be sold to the public. They say only 150 are left. So where's the other 100? As far as I know, the only piece that we have seen is the one on the video.. Until Mathika got 1.

If I remember, someone asked Ubisoft about that one, Ubisoft said it was a pre-production statue which never got produced. Then how come there are 250? Were they already made before Ubisoft cancelled it? (There was a GTA V item being sold on this forum from Canada I think, that wasn't approved but already made)

About the under-table selling, it could just probably be that thru don't have a site to sell from and didn't see a point to create one just to sell these 150.

It could be one of those grey areas.

All very good points you make
We saw 2... one inside ubisoft and then mathika found an unboxing vide by someone at their home

Then escoblades said it was a preproduction statue
And I'm sure he said other things about it too but I'm not home right now so can't fheck

A decision that wasn't made lightly, I'm sure. I'm also cutting back on collecting cause Ubi keeps producing more and more. Money saved and more room in your house. I don't see a downside. Will you be selling the Seed Seven Cowboy Assassin giclee and the ACR porte de la cite litho? If yes how much and what's the shipping to the U.S. without the frames?

Wow Lex I really admire you making a massive decision that many of us feel we should make but never quite find the strength to cut the ties that bind us to our collection...

Good luck with growing your statue collection. I will always help still if I can
