Yeah I won't be giving into the scalpers. When The Order Faceplate sold out, it just disappeared from the Sony Store. This one hasn't yet, so I remain optimistic of a restock.

Would have loved the Grey console, but wasn't prepared to pay the price people were selling them for and I had already exhausted all possible avenues available to me to get one. Am happy with my Silver console.

It was announced that they'd be up @GAME and Amazon UK sometime today ("shortly") on Twitter. Not sure about NA releases yet though but they said it was $450.

They put a temporary charge through to verify the card but they remove it in within a day or two. They used to periodically bill it again every few months for a day or two, but it was reported that they stopped subsequent checks as of last year.

If you use paypal balance obviously it'll be taken away immediately.
