In addition to the standard and digital versions of the game, NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. will also be releasing an individually numbered collector’s edition for North America. The collector’s edition was originally limited to 15,000 units, but has since been raised to 18,000 units to accommodate the overwhelming existing pre-order demand by fans. The contents of the TALES OF SYMPHONIA CHRONICLES Collector’s Edition include the following items:

I've heard the novel is about what happens after ToS but before ToS: DotNW. Is this true?

I'm definitely rethinking my Euro pre-order too. Not too sure about the soundtrack though. It says for the Euro CE, that it gets a 2 disk MP3 soundtrack. You can fit more MP3 files on a CD than you can fit tracks on an audio CD, so it all depends. On that note though, the original ToS OST was 4 disks, so does the US CE only contain the original OST or tracks for both games? I assume a lot of the tracks would be recycled across games though. 0.o

Not sure. We still got had with the extra book and steelie though. Namco hates Europen's?

I would say 50-60 from ToS and 50-60 from ToS: DotNW for the soundtrack. Promo on youtube says over 90 songs, but I doubt it's all of them or it would have to be 8 disks for audio CD.

I will still get them both. I got both for Ni No Kuni and Xillia. Both edition looks impressive on their own and I can't decide one.
