It's a little hard to believe when nobody has leaked any pics of the Batmobile under production or storage, and usually some media would be sent a copy for unboxing/review weeks before release.

I don't really believe that too, lets say maybe 10,000 was produced worldwide (realistically would be higher imagine) - it's very hard to believe that all 10,000 was damaged because of water which would be alot of water to fill the warehouse from bottom to top!

I think they might have settled with the insurance companies, which probably covered any potential losses, and it is possible the insurance agreement ordered remaining units, or the whole line "destroyed" since they could of took in the insurance payout..i am thinking more like a ship cargo container probably got flooded or mishandled, and with seawater and bacteria, they did want to risk having it in some publics hands for fear of liability or litigation, it could have been like sewage water, or dirty unclean water, etc. it is possible, if mismanaged and in a neglected warehouse.

My theory would more that the deal fell through with Triforce. More to do with the cost of the actual model than QA/QC. We may later see a modified version of the Batmobile with higher quality parts and therefore higher purchase cost. /theory.

It is a little strange, unless forced by WB, why didn't Triforce say they were damaged rather than that the quality wasn't high enough?
Surely people would've been more forgiving if they said that as it would've been outwith their control rather than making it looking like they've waited to the last minute before deciding to pull out.
Although if the LE statue is anything to go by, it wouldn't surprise me if it was actually the quality that was the problem, heh, it's such a cheap looking and feeling statue.

Yeah I would agree with everyone, the "water damaged" theory does sound odd, I just know that is what the WB reps told me at the party. If that was true, it would have had to have been a ton of water. Maybe someday all of the facts will come out, perhaps one of the gaming sites will do an in-depth article on it and find out exactly what happened.

How bizarre! I love a good mystery and will be keeping a close ear to this one...

Mind you, my biggest issue with the Batmobile right now is how I'm going to lure the Arkham Knight into the explosive areas without keep crashing.....

That's funny - just popped on to see if anyone else got this today

I'm guessing there really was a CE that got scrapped leaving behind a massive pile on unneeded art books etc....
