Well, perhaps. But with the amount of glue on there you kind of have to wreck one of the panels to get it open. So if the box has been opened at some point and then re-sealed you could probably tell.

Agreed. Mine isn't that bad since I used a knife to cut through the glue, instead of just ripping it open.

Well considering all online stores are sold out at the moment, you may want to consider getting one if you can somehow - perhaps another batch will be produced after christmas its hard to say.

Only Zavvi group have this available on their site but state "usually delivered in a month" which would indicate they are waiting on suppliers

did they "mass produce" this zelda 3DS?..because now my local game stores and retailers are throwing in $25 gift cards when you pick one of these zelda bundles up..same goes for mario too.

i hate it when they call it limited edition, then flood the market, what's the zelda game?..the one that had a gold limited edition one, that came out first?..followed later by the standard version, and now the standard version is actually more desirable, because it is A LOT MORE RARE AND PRODUCED IN LESSER QUANTITIES, then the gold version, i wanna say it was during the SuperNintendo/N64 era,..but i'm sure at least some of you know what i am referring too.
